【Cutfit Lite】
Extreme speed, using flat straight strip materials, suitable for printing and packaging enterprises with large die rubber installation volumes, as well as medium and large-scale die factories
Model Introduction:
Integrates detection, feeding, straight strip conveying, cutting, gluing or heating, and pasting into one. It uses standard flat straight rubber sheet materials without adhesive or with EasyApply adhesive, readily available on the market. The model features an extreme-speed structural design in which the straight strip conveying mechanism, angled/right-angle cutting mechanism, adhesive processing mechanism, and gripping and pasting mechanism move synchronously with the carriage. It offers rapid material changeover and feeding, supports one-time pasting of multiple materials, supports angled cutting, and fully utilizes the entire strip with absolutely no material waste. Capable of gripping and pasting rubber strips across a wide range of lengths, it delivers both comprehensive functionality and ultimate efficiency.
Reference rubber installing efficiency (double-sided full pasting along the knife line): 40–50 meters of knife line per hour (80–100 meters of rubber strip per hour)
| Category | Flat Straight Strips | Coil Material |
|---|---|---|
| Material Manufacturing Cost | Simple process: Flat sheet material → Die-cut straight strips → Boxing. | Complex process: Flat sheet material → Die-cut straight strips → Welding connection → Connect to reel and roll up → Fix the end of the coiled strip with adhesive → Packaging. |
| One flat straight strip size: Length 500mm * Width/Thickness 8mm strip * 70 strips → 35 meters. Volume: 8*500*560. | One coil material size: Inner core reel 100mm * Width/Thickness 8mm strip * 35 meters → Coil diameter 600mm → plus reel outer circumference approx. 650mm diameter * Total reel thickness approx. 15mm → 35 meters. Volume: 15*φ650 | |
| Comparison Note: Coil material cost is considerably higher than flat straight strips: (1) Additional reel cost: On average, one coil reel costs about RMB 5. A reel of about 8mm thick material holds thirty-five meters, and a 12mm one holds only twenty-some meters. This reel cost is added to the material cost, potentially increasing the unit cost per meter by over 5%, and for some low-cost materials, even over 10%. (2) Customization cost: Coil materials are not available on the market and require customization, adding welding equipment. For coils with double-sided adhesive, an additional mechanism for synchronously applying double-sided adhesive is needed. These add manufacturing steps compared to flat straight strips, increasing production costs and raising selling prices. (3) Transportation and storage cost: A box of flat sheet material of the same specification and length, when made into coils, requires packaging dimensions more than double the size, and the number of boxes may double or triple, greatly increasing transportation and storage costs. |

| Number of Specifications and Varieties | Market-available materials with complete varieties and specifications. The die rubber installing machine can conveniently configure multiple specifications of materials and automatically switch for one-time pasting, with no material usage restrictions. | The materials that can be made into coils are very limited. Those with better quality and harder materials are inconvenient to make into coils; otherwise, curling deformation affects material quality. Moreover, it is very difficult for the die rubber installing machine to configure multiple specifications of coil reels and perform automatic switching, so only one specification of material can be pasted at a time. Changing materials to paste the same die is very troublesome, reducing practicality. |
| Pasting Quality Issues | Flat straight strips are directly pasted without deformation, suitable for pasting longer rubber strips. Material form, hardness, and other properties do not affect the pasting effect. Stable production status and good quality. | Coil material has many pasting quality problems and production anomalies: (1) The harder the material, the harder it is to quickly recover flatness after long-term curling. Curling causes uneven glue application, and loose pasting occurs frequently. (2) The closer to the center of the reel, the greater the curling degree, making it harder to recover flatness, and more prone to loose pasting, deformation, warping, and other anomalies. (3) The longer the strip, the harder it is to recover from curling deformation, and the more anomalies occur. Therefore, it is difficult to support pasting longer strips. Cutting into short strips makes it hard to improve machine efficiency. It is difficult to achieve both. (4) Coil production requires welding connections to roll up long strips, but the welded positions are usually harder, which affects the sponge elasticity requirements and easily causes die-cutting production anomalies during die operation. Therefore, manual replacement is required after rubber installing. This undoubtedly increases the subsequent handling trouble of die rubber installing. |
| Material Purchasing Channels | Flat straight strips are market-available materials with complete varieties and specifications, easy to purchase, no customization required. Customers can freely choose materials without purchasing difficulties and are not restricted by material suppliers. | Coil material is custom-made, and purchasing channels are very limited: (1) Coil material requires customization. If the quantity is small, sponge manufacturers may not supply it, so it must be purchased from designated sellers, subject to certain restrictions by coil material sellers. (2) Coil material is specially developed by coil-fed die rubber installing machine manufacturers. They may bundle coil material sales with machine sales. In addition, coil material is relatively expensive, greatly limiting customers' subsequent autonomy in use. |
